What counts as evidence in WORE?
The strongest textual evidence is a relevant passage from a source WORE actually accessed. Metadata, search snippets, abstracts, AI summaries, citation counts, and the fact that full text is available can help discovery, but they do not by themselves prove a claim.
Does WORE treat agreement among AI models as proof?
No. Agreement among Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, or other models is a research signal, not independent evidence. WORE evaluates the cited underlying material and keeps access limits visible.
How does WORE label source access?
Public results distinguish verified full sources, open full text that was located, abstract or metadata-only records, paywalled sources, user-provided documents, and preprints. These labels describe access and provenance; they do not automatically establish truth.
What happens when the evidence is insufficient?
